Women in Business is designed for women to have their own space to network over lunch. The event includes lunch from a local restaurant and an engaging speaker. Our speaker for this Women in Business is Jacquelyn Blakley, PhD. She will be speaking about self care in the new year! This event is limited to 30 registrants.
Jacquelyn Blakley, Ph.D. Dean, Business and Public Services Division, Tri-County Technical College
Dr. Jacquelyn “Jackie” Blakley has 23 years of experience in higher education and six years of experience in operations management, purchasing, and accounting at Sealed Air Corporation. She also possesses expertise in leadership, strategic planning, search committees and fiscal management.
In her current role at Tri-County Technical College, Dr. Blakley is responsible for overseeing the Business and Public Services Division, which offers a variety of associate degree programs, certificates and diplomas in a number of career fields ranging from business administration and accounting to criminal justice, computer and information technology, and early care and education.
She has a Bachelor of Business Administration in risk management and insurance from the University of Georgia and a Master of Business Administration from Clemson University. She holds a doctorate in educational leadership from Clemson University.
